Doctors at the LEAP center provide 24/7 health advice and support to employees (and their dependents with coverage) in dealing with all kinds of health problems. They evaluate the caller’s problem, provide relevant information, and, if necessary, refer the caller to an expert or clinic.
Each call is taken by a doctor who listens to and evaluates the caller’s complaints regarding a chronic or acute condition, provides straightforward answers to questions about lab test results, checkup reports, various treatments, medications or vaccinations, etc. When necessary, the doctor refers the caller to the relevant expert without losing any time.
The Health Advice and Support Line also provides information and counseling on maternal and infant health, as well as elder care.
